Hello there!

My name is Judy and I’m a Dallas, TX based newborn and family lifestyle photographer. I’m also a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids, and I previously worked as a registered nurse. Becoming a photographer was completely unplanned, and the journey actually started back when I had my first baby. During that time, I remember feeling anxious, inadequate, lonely, and exhausted as a brand new mom. It took time, faith, and community to walk out of that season in a good place. So how did this lead me to photography? I often marvel as I look back at photos of my son during that time. Isn’t it wonderfully strange how photos can be so forgiving? When I look at those photos, I don’t really remember the lows or the tears. Instead, I remember his sweet smell, how his hands felt grasping my finger, or how his giggles sounded like cackles.

That’s why I’m doing this. I believe in the power of photography to remember and celebrate our stories: to capture photos that will remind us of the beauty in the mess, the extraordinary in the ordinary, and the love that triumphs over whatever other stories happened along the way.

So glad you're here!

I want to capture who you are, authentically and artistically .

I want you to look back on your photos and feel sentimental,

remembering the simple joy of just being a family together.

Meet my

family!

#1. Selfies with a family of 5 are hard. They require perseverance, potty jokes, and an extra long arm.

#2. I love personality tests; don’t get me started on Myers Briggs, Enneagram, or Strengths Finder. I will probably talk your ear off and then make you take a test to find out your type. (For the record: I am an INFJ, Enneagram 1w2, Relator.)

#3 I’m an introvert, but will trade my alone time for deep connection and vulnerable sharing.

#4 I’m a fan of Disney, fantasy and science fiction. Expecto patronum and may the force be with you 3000 and beyond!

#5. I'm a registered nurse. Although I'm not currently practicing, it remains a deep love of mine and inspiration in photography because it taught me about finding beauty in the ordinary–even broken–places.

#6. I love Jesus, and He is the reason I know anything about beautiful things.

Fun facts.
